My work explores the tension between connection and freedom, closeness and distance. Through documentary imagery, portraiture and alternative printing techniques, I explore feelings of displacement and the shifting idea of home, questioning how personal histories shape the way we perceive and interpret the world around us.

I am particularly interested in the patterns and strategies we inherit or develop to navigate life, how they continue to shape us long after they no longer serve us, and how we might break free from them.
